Customer Service Representative

HOLOGIC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver responsive, customer-focused support for our growing user base. Position Summary As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing timely and accurate assistance while maintaining a high level of service quality. You’ll engage with customers professionally, troubleshoot common issues, and ensure each interaction reflects our commitment to service excellence. In this remote role based in Chicago, IL, you will handle inquiries, document outcomes, and collaborate with internal teams to help resolve customer needs efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities Provide customer support by responding to inquiries in a clear, courteous, and timely manner Resolve routine questions and issues using established processes and escalation paths when needed Accurately document customer interactions, requests, and outcomes to support effective follow-up Identify trends in customer questions and recommend improvements to support workflows Maintain a consistent service standard while meeting performance and response expectations Required Qualifications Proven experience in a customer-facing role or customer support environment Strong communication skills with the ability to explain solutions in a straightforward way Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while maintaining focus and productivity Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail when handling customer requests Ability to follow established procedures and adapt to changing priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience handling high volumes of customer inquiries while maintaining quality and accuracy Familiarity with common customer service workflows such as ticketing, case management, or order inquiry processes Experience de-escalating customer concerns and maintaining professionalism in challenging situations Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Compensation Hourly rate: $20 - $40
