CW Security Operation Center Engineer Intern (Fall 2026- Starting in December)

Louisiana Blue is seeking a Security Operation Center Engineer Intern to support cybersecurity monitoring and incident identification. The intern will gather information on intrusion attempts, monitor security environments and logs, use correlation software, and review security technologies and trends.

What you'll do:

• Gather information to assist in identification of intrusion attempts
• Assist with monitoring the security environment using various methods
• Monitor logs and use correlation software
• Learn and review existing security technologies and trends

What they're looking for:

• Junior or Senior level undergraduate student, graduate student, or recently graduated with Computer Science and Cybersecurity concentrations
• 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication abilities
• Must demonstrate the ability to think analytically and present ideas professionally
• Self-motivated, adaptable to a changing work environment, and team-oriented
• Undergraduates must be able to work 15 – 20 hours per week during the Spring and Fall semesters and 30 – 40 hours per week during the summer
• Recent graduates must be able to work 30 – 40 hours per week year round
• 3.0 preferred cumulative GPA
• Knowledge of information technology, cybersecurity, security systems, or applications preferred
