Cyber Security Analyst 1

Amentum is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst 1 for a position on Kauai, HI. This entry level position supports accreditation activity efforts by coordinating with Koa Lani IT Department, PMRF C-ISSM/C-ISSO, ISO and other Government personnel. The Analyst will monitor and coordinate implementation of IAVM, Patches, STIG, etc.

What you'll do:

• Assists in all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction
• Supports ISSOs in duties and responsibilities in DODI 8500.01, DODI 8510.01, and U.S. Navy Policy
• Complete activities related to NIST RMF Assessment & Authorization (A&A) Process and other policies for the administration and safeguarding of US and foreign Government classified and unclassified information as it pertains to networks, standalone computer systems, and data encryption for review by the ISSO or Cyber Operations Manager
• Perform security tasks required by the 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-37, DoD 8500.1 DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process, DOD Instruction 8510.01 Risk Management Framework for DoD Systems for review by ISSO or Cyber Operations Manager
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Lifting, pushing, and pulling with a limit of 1-10 lbs
• Work positions requirements: walking, standing, sitting, crawling, kneeling or cramped, repeated stooping, or frequent climbing
• Working environment activities: customer contact, extended workday, confined work area, and office laboratory

What they're looking for:

• HS School or equivalent
• Two (2) years' work experience in Information Technology
• DOD 8570/8140: IAM I
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance
• US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
