Cyber Security Architect/Engineer I

Honeywell Aerospace is an aerospace and defense company developing systems and technologies for commercial aviation, defense, and space. The Cyber Security Architect/Engineer I supports the design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions, integrates security throughout the product lifecycle, manages security risks, and helps remediate security issues. The role also coordinates with engineering and development teams and contributes to cybersecurity assurance and continuous improvement activities.

What you'll do:

• Execute product security process activities including threat modelling, security requirements definition, cyber test planning, and cyber risk assessments
• Coordinate with program teams of engineers and developers in SDLC practices ensuring quality and compliance
• Follow Aerospace defined processes to verify correctness and completeness of required cyber certification documentation and cyber security test activities
• Help conduct continuous improvement activities that define, measure, visualize and improve key cyber security assurance metrics

What they're looking for:

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role
• Knowledge and basic skills about product security assessment, preferably aerospace products
• Knowledge and experience in the information security field
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field is required
• Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
