Cyber Security Intern

Andromeda Software Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security Intern to assist in various security-related tasks. The intern will monitor security alerts, support vulnerability scanning, and participate in security assessments, while gaining valuable experience in the Cyber Security field.

What you'll do:

• Assist with monitoring security alerts and investigating potential security incidents
• Support vulnerability scanning and help document findings and remediation efforts
• Participate in security assessments, audits and compliance activities
• Assist with user access reviews and identity and access management processes
• Use data analysis, statistical models, historical information, and financial knowledge to make informed risk exposure and management strategies decisions
• Help develop internal processes and methodologies for risk assessment and risk monitoring
• Perform other cyber security-related projects and tasks as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher (or international equivalent). Certifications will be considered
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to provide information to a wide variety of audiences regardless of topic and effectively deal with issues that are confidential and sensitive in nature
• Interest in gaining deeper knowledge and understanding of Cyber Security field
