Cybersecurity Engineer Internship- Summer 2027

Casey's is a growing Fortune 500 retail company that provides interns with real-world experience, professional development, and opportunities to collaborate across the organization. The Cybersecurity Engineer Intern will support projects that mature network and data security practices and help teams implement projects using security best practices.

What you'll do:

• Support tasks and projects associated with maturing network and data security practices across the organization
• Work with other teams in the organization to ensure projects are being implemented using security best practices

What they're looking for:

• Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• Experience with email or endpoint security products is beneficial
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
• Ability to exercise independent judgment
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Experience with managing firewalls, Azure networking, and Azure security preferred
