Cybersecurity Intern

American Century Investments is a global asset manager focused on investment management and supporting medical research. The Cybersecurity Intern will learn within the Cyber Operations security team through projects and training focused on incident response, phishing, data loss prevention, and AI security. The intern will also support cyber incident assessments and help define security processes and procedures.

What you'll do:

• Your projects and training will be focused on incident response, phishing, data loss prevention, and AI security activities that will uphold the security and operations of the firm
• You will also learn about defining and detailing security processes and procedures in a corporate setting
• Interns for this group will act as first responders alongside their peers for cyber incidents that come in, to provide critical assessment of each report
• You will apply the knowledge you have acquired from your coursework and from the mentors within your team toward meaningful opportunities and projects

What they're looking for:

• * You are an incoming senior enrolled in an undergraduate program within Cybersecurity, Information Security, Data Security, AI Security, or a related field
• * Passion for gaining experience with Information Security and Risk Management
