About this role

Censeo Consulting Group is a management consulting firm serving public-sector and nonprofit clients. The Cybersecurity Policy Analyst will support the Office of Government-wide Policy at the General Services Administration with cybersecurity policy and process support focused on Identity and Access Management. The role includes stakeholder coordination, technology research and demonstrations, project and program management support, website monitoring, survey analysis, and risk mitigation.

What you'll do:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of client issues, needs, and context related to cybersecurity policy and implementation (Specifically in the area of Identity and Access Management (IAM))
  • Share insights, results, and recommendations in a comprehensible manner through both written presentations/reports and interactions with teams/clients
  • Work with client stakeholders and working groups to develop process maps, project plans, and identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvement
  • Coordinate activities associated with technology sandbox environments used by federal agencies to evaluate and test emerging technologies
  • Coordinate with participating agencies, technology providers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate demonstrations, presentations, testing activities, and other innovation initiatives
  • Conduct market research on emerging technologies, technology vendors, products, and industry trends
  • Research and prepare written materials on emerging technologies and their potential applications within the federal government
  • Monitor and track website performance metrics for to ensure alignment with applicable industry standards and performance expectations
  • Coordinate with technical and content stakeholders regarding website updates and related activities
  • Lead discrete deliverables and / or workstreams
  • Support approving, initiating, planning, executing, and closing out projects
  • Support the planning and management of meeting logistics, materials, and follow up actions

What they're looking for:

  • BA / BS Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or similar field
  • Experience with and working knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and / or Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM)
  • Federal consulting experience supporting project management life cycle
  • 0-3 years
  • 4-7 years
  • 7-10 years
  • Experience conducting technology market research or vendor/product assessments
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and technology innovation programs
  • Experience coordinating technology demonstrations, pilots, proofs of concept, or sandbox environments
  • Familiarity with website performance monitoring, content management systems, and website deployment processes
  • Ability to obtain a public trust security clearance
  • Excellent customer service skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong analytic skills
