Cybersecurity Training Center Trainee

Cybertection LLC is a cybersecurity company developing security solutions to protect individuals and organizations online. The Cybersecurity Training Center Trainee will participate in structured training, labs, and simulations while building practical skills in application, network, and information security. The trainee will monitor basic security events, document findings, evaluate potential threats, and contribute to internal knowledge resources under senior team guidance.

What you'll do:

• Participating in structured training programs, labs, and simulations focused on application, network, and information security
• Assist in monitoring basic security events, documenting findings, and supporting the evaluation of potential threats under the guidance of senior team members
• Studying cybersecurity frameworks, best practices, and tools, as well as contributing to internal knowledge bases and training materials

What they're looking for:

• Foundational knowledge and strong interest in Cybersecurity and Cyber defense concepts
• Understanding or coursework in Application Security and secure software practices
• Basic familiarity with Network Security, including firewalls, VPNs, and network protocols
• Awareness of Information Security principles, data protection, and risk management
• Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly and follow structured training plans
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in remote teams
• Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and continuous professional development
• Relevant education in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial
• Exposure to security tools (e.g., SIEM, antivirus, vulnerability scanners) is a plus
