About this role
Avalore.ai is seeking a Data Analyst to support mission objectives and system improvements through analysis of Advana platform data. The role involves defining analytical requirements, ensuring data quality and governance compliance, creating reports and dashboards, performing advanced analysis, and collaborating with technical teams to improve data systems and analytics capabilities.
What you'll do:
- The Data Analyst will use Advana platform data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights supporting mission objectives and system improvements
- They will work with stakeholders to define analytical requirements, ensure data quality and governance compliance, and develop methodologies for data collection, analysis, and visualization
- Responsibilities include creating reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor performance, costs, usage, and customer satisfaction
- They will perform advanced data analysis using statistical methods, data mining, and predictive analytics, integrating data from various sources to uncover correlations and forecast future needs
- The Data Analyst will validate data accuracy, document processes, and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making
- They will collaborate with technical teams to optimize data systems, implement improvements, and develop reusable analytical components
- Additionally, they will evaluate and implement tools, train users on analytics capabilities, and stay current with advancements in analytics techniques and technologies, bringing innovative approaches to their work
What they're looking for:
- SECRET Security Clearance Required
- GSEC, SSCP, or Security+ certification (for Junior/Journeyman roles)
- CCISO, CISM, CISSP, or GSLC certification (for Senior roles)
- Junior: 0 - 3 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
- Journeyman: 4 - 7 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
- Senior: 8+ years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
- Good communication skills, self-starter mindset
- Professional proficiency in English is required
- Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Avalore will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear
