About this role
Voices of Hope - Lexington, Inc. is a nonprofit organization seeking a Data Analyst to support its reporting and information-management needs. The role gathers and manages program and financial data, prepares reports, performs basic analysis, maintains documentation, and supports compliance, communication, and staff training.
What you'll do:
- Gather and compile data from various sources, including program activities and financial records
- Maintain and update databases to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
- Assist in the creation of regular and ad-hoc reports and SOPs for internal and external stakeholders, including funders, board members, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure all reports comply with nonprofit reporting standards and donor requirements
- Perform basic data analysis to support program evaluation and impact assessment
- Identify trends and insights from data to inform strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with program managers and other staff to gather necessary information for reporting
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify report requirements and address any discrepancies
- Provide staff training when necessary
- Maintain thorough documentation of data sources, methodologies, and reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and reporting guidelines
- Stay current with changes in nonprofit requirements and practices
What they're looking for:
- High School Diploma/GED minimum
- Coursework or certification in data management or analysis
- Familiarity with nonprofit environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of data analysis techniques
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Must be 18 or older
- Associate's in Business Administration, Communications or related discipline preferred
