Data Analyst - Evidence Solutions

Flatiron Health is reimagining the infrastructure of cancer care and is seeking a Data Analyst to support the delivery of data sets and products to clients in the life sciences. The role involves developing data models, conducting statistical analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance cancer care through data-driven insights.

What you'll do:

• Become a subject matter expert on our data and its capabilities
• Work closely with a cross-functional team (e.g., product managers, software engineers, oncologists, clinical data specialists) to develop new real-world data products
• Conduct and review tests to monitor quality of data sets to ensure research-grade data quality in our products, investigating data issues as necessary
• Conduct and present ad-hoc analyses in response to customer requests and internal questions
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to develop tools and process improvements to optimize project execution for our custom solutions projects
• Conduct analyses on internal process metadata and translate findings into actionable insights for business leaders

What they're looking for:

• You have a BS or MS from a technical field of study (e.g. data science, engineering, computer science, mathematics, applied statistics, health economics, operations research, etc.) with 1-3 years of relevant experience
• You are proficient in SQL and R
• You have an understanding of key statistical concepts and the ability to generate and interpret statistical analyses
• You are a clear and confident communicator who can break down complex data analyses to tell a compelling story
• You are a self-starter who can independently prioritize and enjoys coming up with innovative solutions to challenging problems
• You are passionate about our mission to improve cancer care through data and technology
• You have prior experience in Healthcare
• You have prior Oncology or Clinical Data experience
• You have experience designing experiments
• You have experience developing software tools
• You have experience in Python
