Data Analyst Intern

EPC Power is a designer and manufacturer of utility-scale power conversion systems and power electronics solutions for renewable energy, energy storage, microgrids, and data center infrastructure. The Data Analyst Intern will support data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, process documentation, and performance tracking across the organization in a part-time remote role.

What you'll do:

• Assist with gathering, cleaning, and organizing data from systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and Microsoft 365
• Support the development and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards under the guidance of senior team members
• Perform basic data analysis to help identify trends, patterns, and operational insights
• Help document data sources, processes, workflows, and reporting logic to support transparency and repeatability
• Assist with tracking metrics and KPIs used to monitor business and operational performance
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives by providing data analysis and documentation
• Follow established data governance, security, and compliance guidelines

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
• Interest in learning Power BI data modeling and visualization techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to clearly communicate findings and documentation to technical and non-technical audiences
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks in a remote, part-time environment
• Desire to learn and grow technical and analytical skills in a professional setting
• Foundational experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, JavaScript, HTML, PowerBI, or similar tools is a plus
• Familiarity with business systems such as ERP or CRM platforms (e.g., NetSuite or Salesforce) is a plus but not required
