Data Analyst Intern

tms is a creative agency, strategic consultancy, sourcing business, and technology provider serving leading global brands. The Data Analyst Intern will support the Global People Operations team by developing HR reporting and visualizations, analyzing employee lifecycle data, and supporting HRIS, data governance, and data integrity initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Partner with key stakeholders within the People Team to gather requirements, understand data needs, and develop routine and scalable reporting solutions
• Develop HRIS system reporting to ensure data quality & data integrity and to assist in the development and monitoring of system and process performance and service level agreements
• Support ongoing data management and data governance strategies and assist the People Team with data clean-up efforts
• Assist the Global People Operations team on special projects in the areas of process mapping, continuous improvement, and data governance
• Gather, process, and analyze large data sets from various sources to identify trends and insights in the employee life cycle
• Manage and analyze highly sensitive data sets to derive actionable business insights for key stakeholders

What they're looking for:

• Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Internship or other experience in HR Analytics, Marketing Analytics or Finance/Business Analytics
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Be comfortable cleaning, sorting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data
• Be able to translate data requirements into easily understood reports
• Experience in SAP SuccessFactors
• Experience in Power BI, Tableau or other visualization technologies
