Data Analytics Developer Internship

Toyota Material Handling is seeking a Data Analytics Developer Intern for its IT Data & Advanced Analytics team. The intern will support AI solutions, data discovery, data pipeline development, data modeling, analytics, and visualization while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do:

• Work on new AI solutions and how to incorporate them into systems and front ends
• Data discovery at TMHNA (core business systems, new digital initiatives)
• Data Engineering - Learn how to extract data from these sources and develop data pipeline
• Data Analytics -Properly model the extracted data. Combine the extracted data with the current structured data and coming up with new insights and ways to present insight and visuals to the business
• How to leverage data from IOT, Telematics and other new digital initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

What they're looking for:

• Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and high volume data analytics
• Experience working with technology as related to date analytics
• Demonstrated creative problem solving skills with an emphasis on teamwork
• Ability to research and resolve critical issues that are deadline driven
• Motived self-started with strong attention to detail and critical thinking
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, decision making ability, and customer service attitude with emphasis on accuracy are required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
• Experience with Snowflake or Power BI is a plus, but not mandatory
