About this role
This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.
Locations: Chicago, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Mason and Richmond.

The Undergraduate Data Analytics Intern will support business teams by collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to generate insights that drive business decisions within our Digital Platforms and AI Organization (DPAIO). The intern will gain experience working with data sets, reporting tools, and modern analytics technologies.
During the program our Interns will receive an orientation to the company and engage in challenging projects evolving around the rapidly changing healthcare tech industry. Interns are paired with industry professionals and mentors and will be given opportunities to stretch their skills and enrich their knowledge base to achieve a greater understanding within technology.

- Responsible for developing strategies, programs and solutions based on business priorities, consumer insights and industry trends that support digital strategy.
- Create, gather and assess market requirements through competitive intelligence and emerging trends, stakeholder and consumer feedback.
- Reimagine how technology works to deliver new capabilities, maintain system efficiency, and reinvest in accelerating transformation.
- Leverage AI to transform business processes, automate systems, and deliver the best service and experiences for our stakeholders.
- Deliver technology capabilities cost efficiently to enable growth of topline revenue for the enterprise.
## Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship program (May 17 – August 6, 2027).
- Enrolled in an approved Undergraduate Degree academic program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or a related field of study.
- Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements.
- For the Veteran internship, candidates do not need to be students as military experience and training can be substituted for educational experience.
## Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences
Students will be assigned to a specific group within DPAIO based on skill set and need of the business. Students should have experience and education in:
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner.
- Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning/LLM, data visualization, Python, SQL, Java, AWS, Azure, Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Natural Language Processing, AI Model development, Agentic AI Framework, or Gen AI. Technologies used vary team to team.
