Data Analytics Intern – Breakthrough

U.S. Venture’s Breakthrough division operates across transportation supply chains and related market initiatives. The Data Analytics Intern will support research, market intelligence, data exploration, and analytics projects, lead a capstone project, and present findings to senior leadership.

What you'll do:

• Execute a capstone Data Analytics project and present results to senior leadership
• Support research and market intelligence initiatives focused on fuel, freight, and sustainability
• Query, clean, analyze, and visualize data for both internal and client-facing analytics
• Assist with data analytics initiatives, including data cleansing, data modeling, and building scalable deployable analytical outcomes
• Document analytical processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

• Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Analytics, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Comfortable working with data and learning new technologies and tools
• Collaborative, curious, and self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative
• Interest in data visualization, modeling, automation, and leveraging AI tools to improve productivity
• All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require U.S. Venture's sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States
• Experience with SQL and R or Python for data cleaning, organization, and analysis preferred
• Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics tools is a plus
