Data Analytics Intern - Spring 2027

The Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) is seeking a motivated intern to support its Transmission Cost Estimating team. The role focuses on importing departmental data, performing analysis with Excel, Power BI, and Oracle Data Visualization, and recommending process improvements to enhance project cost estimate accuracy and timeliness.

What you'll do:

• Import data from other department’s deliverables into our ever-expanding databases
• Perform data analysis using: Excel, PowerBI, Oracle Data Visualization
• Recommend new and improved practices and procedures related to assigned area

What they're looking for:

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program in senior year or has recently completed senior year (i.e., summer after graduating with a bachelor's degree)
• Ability to perform in-depth quality assurance and quality control of data and documentation
• Effective communication skills, both spoken and in writing
• Experience in excel, Power BI, and Oracle Data Visualization
