Data Analytics Intern Summer 2027

Verdantas is an environmental consulting and sustainable engineering company that uses modeling and digital technology to address environmental and infrastructure challenges. The Data Analytics Intern will support data collection, cleaning, analysis, dashboard development, documentation, and cross-functional decision-making while gaining experience in consulting, operations, and project delivery.

What you'll do:

• Assist with collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple internal and external sources
• Support the development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key insights
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with cross?functional teams to understand data needs and business objectives
• Help document data processes and ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Gain exposure to real?world analytics applications in consulting, operations, and project delivery

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem?solving skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with Excel and/or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar preferred)
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Curiosity, initiative, and eagerness to learn in a fast?paced professional setting
• Exposure to SQL, Python, R, or similar tools is a plus
