Data & Analytics Internship- Summer 2027

Casey's is a growing Fortune 500 company that provides interns with meaningful work, professional development, and opportunities to collaborate with leaders and industry professionals. The Data & Analytics Intern will partner with business stakeholders and data platform engineers to deliver insights and analysis, using tools such as Databricks, PowerBI, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and MarketDial. The role includes requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, code review, deployment, data analysis, reporting, data integration, and development of analytical solutions.

What you'll do:

• Partnering closely with business partners, leaders, team members, and data platform engineers to collaboratively deliver meaningful insights and analysis
• Build technical skills utilizing SQL, Python, and PySpark
• Be part of all steps in the development process from requirements gathering, iterative design, coding, testing, code review, and production deployment
• Performing descriptive & diagnostic analysis through various techniques to story-tell, present, and operationalize analytical findings and results
• Learning more around data analytic literacy, governance, and data-driven culture across the organization
• Work on various levels in the data pipeline including data integration, reporting, and analysis
• Work with a team of professionals to collaboratively create analytical solutions to meet business objectives and desired outcomes

What they're looking for:

• Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
• Ability to exercise independent judgment
