The role requires understanding the business meaning of financial data, not merely its technical implementation.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EResponsibilities:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3ELead and develop data analysts, analytics engineers, and technical leads.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOwn financial data products supporting regulatory reporting, profitability/EPM, incentive compensation, expense allocation, and more.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPartner with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting, and technology stakeholders.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ETranslate financial requirements into reliable, governed data solutions.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EModernize legacy pipelines while maintaining stability and controls.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EManage priorities across operations, regulatory commitments, modernization, and business demand.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3E%26nbsp;%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EQualifications:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E8+ years in data management, engineering, analytics, or financial systems. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience leading technical teams and business-critical data products.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EStrong SQL, data engineering, modeling, testing, and production-support skills.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExceptional ability to translate financial concepts into technical solutions.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EBanking, financial data, Databricks, Python, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, dbt, and enterprise data governance experience preferred.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3ELocation:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis position is fully in office (5 days a week) at the Zions Technology Center - 7860 South Bingham Junction Blvd, Midvale, UT 84047%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah.
