As a Data Engineer, you will work collaboratively with teams to design, maintain, and implement complex data integration services for FTB's enterprise data stores. Apply your comprehensive understanding of the tools and techniques involved in data analysis and data integration such as data warehousing and data consolidation. You will be responsible for providing complex data and ad-hoc query support to business and technical partners throughout the department and building relationships with stakeholders, diverse groups, and teams. As a Data Engineer you will develop expert knowledge of FTB's enterprise systems, data architecture, data sources, and data integration best practices. You are expected to work cooperatively with the multiple levels of management and Technology Services Division (TSD) technical staff in support of planning and software implementation activities. Working Conditions
This position is eligible for limited remote working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework. This is subject to change.

Experience reading and understanding relational database Physical Data Models (PDM)
Experience in Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud skill sets
Experience writing and working with SQL queries or Unix/Linux scripts
Experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools, methodologies, and processes
Knowledge and experience with ETL processes and tools such as IBM DataStage, Informatica, or Microsoft SSIS
