Data Engineer Intern - IT

## Job Summary Are you a student who enjoys assisting in the development and validation of data integration solutions? In this role you will understand and align requirements to resulting integration product delivery. We’re looking for a highly adaptive, resourceful student who is a fast learner. ## What You’ll Do - Analyze data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL) techniques for accuracy. - Understand basic business requirements and engage with integration developers to design and verify corresponding solutions using Agile project methodology. - Follow best practices and security standards for all data, including personally identifiable data. - Ensure all data-related activities adhere to business requirements and data integrity best practices. - Test and diagnose developed integrations for defects. - Participate in project planning sessions, review requirements and functional specifications. ## What We’re Looking For - High School diploma required. - Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Informatics or related field. Previous internship is a plus. - Ability to validate data received from various web services and other integration technologies (REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, ETL). - Knowledge of relational databases, SQL queries, relational and dimensional data modeling and data warehouses. - Strong attention to detail. ## Travel No travel is expected of this position.
