Bankers Financial Corporation is offering a Data Engineering Intern position to provide students with valuable, real-world experience. The intern will assist with data reporting requests, conduct data quality efforts, and analyze data using various tools.
What you'll do:
- Assist with data reporting requests and develop reports that communicate key metrics and insights
- Conduct basic data quality efforts, including validation, reconciliation, and anomaly identification
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze data using appropriate tools and platforms
- Research and learn data platform capabilities and business process workflows
- Identify opportunities to improve data organization and integrity
What they're looking for:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, most importantly Excel
- Basic understanding of data, databases, or reporting concepts
- Experience or familiarity with Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Postgres, Fabric, and Snowflake
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to organize and validate information
- Data-mapping experience
