Data Intelligence Intern – Breakthrough

U.S. AutoForce is seeking a Data Intelligence Intern for the summer of 2027 to join their Data Intelligence team. This internship will involve market research, analytics, and data science to support transportation supply chain initiatives, including leading a capstone project and presenting findings to senior leadership.

What you'll do:

• Execute a capstone Data Intelligence project and present results to senior leadership
• Support research and market intelligence initiatives focused on fuel, freight, and sustainability
• Query, clean, analyze, and visualize data for both internal and client-facing analytics
• Assist with data science initiatives, including model support and data maintenance
• Document analytical processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Analytics, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Comfortable working with data and learning new technologies and tools
• Collaborative, curious, and self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require U.S. Venture's sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States
• Experience with SQL and R or Python for data cleaning, organization, and analysis
• Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics tools
• Interest in data visualization, modeling, automation, and leveraging AI tools to improve productivity
