About this role

Kaiser Permanente is an industry-leading healthcare organization offering interns opportunities to develop expertise through impactful assignments. The intern will support Social Health reporting and analytics initiatives through project coordination, data governance, dashboard development, process documentation, stakeholder communication, and analytics operations.

What you'll do:

  • Tracking project milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items
  • Coordinating requirements, testing, deployment, and stakeholder communications
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and documentation
  • Maintaining project documentation, SharePoint content, and process guides
  • Assisting with intake requests, meeting facilitation, and status reporting
  • Developing dashboards, trackers, and operational metrics to improve project visibility
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardization
  • Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective
  • Report development and analytics
  • Project management - planning, execution, and measurement
  • Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives
  • Job shadowing in other functional areas

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
  • Ability to document processes, action items, and decisions clearly
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Interest in Project Management, Business Analysis, Healthcare Operations, or Data Analytics
  • Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Planner, Smartsheet, or similar tracking tools
  • Experience creating project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, or process documentation
  • Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or project management methodologies
