Data Scientist Associate

Southcentral Foundation is seeking a Data Scientist Associate to support the Data Science team in understanding stakeholder goals and determining how data can be used. The role supports predictive data modeling, data pipeline development, exploratory and statistical analyses, model deployment and monitoring, and communication of insights and recommendations.

What you'll do:

• The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Data Scientist Associate works with the Data Scientist and Data Science team to support the understanding and implementation of stakeholder goals and determine how data can be used
• The Data Scientist Associate supports predictive data modeling processes, assists in developing relevant data pipelines, performs exploratory and statistical analyses, and contributes to the deployment and monitoring of analytical models
• They also share meaningful insights and recommendations with their team, peers, and stakeholders

What they're looking for:

• 1. High School Diploma; OR GED
• 2. Bachelor's degree in medical health informatics, data science, statistics, mathematics, public health, computer science; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3. One (1) years of experience in a Data Science position or demonstrated experience that includes the following: data analytics, data modeling, visualization, and data governance; feature engineering; use of statistical methods, techniques and theory
