Data Scientist

Guidehouse is a consulting firm that supports U.S Federal border security customers. The Border Security Data Scientist will collect, transform, integrate, and analyze data to develop integrated data models and deploy dynamic analytical solutions.

What you'll do:

• Develop integrated data pipelines and models to support law enforcement operations
• Develop and maintain data governance documentation, tools, and templates
• Coordinate with non-technical users to gather requirements
• Request, document, report, and analyze data, and where applicable, create tools and resources to support data and reporting
• Support key mission clients within the Washington DC Metro region at client sites

What they're looking for:

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED CBP PUBLIC TRUST or An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED 'TOP SECRET' Federal or DoD security clearance
• Bachelors Degree
• Experience in performing data analysis, mining and/or architecture using tools such as SQL, Python, R, etc
• Experience developing transformative data integration solutions that transform border, national security or law enforcement data
• Experience performing modelling and/or simulation analysis
• Proficiency in querying and mining large classified data sets
• Proficiency in data wrangling and analysis using Python
• Proficiency with COTS tools such as DataRobot, Senzing and others
• Experience developing bespoke analytical tools for law enforcement analysis
• Direct Experience supporting the National Targeting Center or similar National Security analysis fusion centers
