Data Scientist Intern - Summer 2027

## Overview AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Data Scientist Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Phoenix, AZ office. ## Your role - Support the development and enhancement of data analytics, reporting and visualization solutions for internal and client-facing projects. - Assist with data collection, validation, transformation, and integration from multiple data sources, including project controls, scheduling, cost, and operational systems. - Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and other business intelligence platforms. - Support the configuration, testing, and deployment of digital solutions used for project management, project controls, and operational reporting. - Analyze business processes and user requirements to identify opportunities for reporting automation and workflow improvements. - Assist with AI-driven initiatives, including data preparation, testing, prompt development, and evaluation of emerging technologies. - Perform quality assurance and validation activities to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability. - Collaborate with technical managers, developers, data scientists, and project teams to develop and implement client solutions. ## About you - EXPERIENCE: Past internship/involvement related to data analytics, business intelligence, software development or digital technologies preferred. - EDUCATION: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. - SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong analytical skills, problem solving, communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Python or other reporting and analytics platforms preferred.
