About this role
JLL is a global provider of real estate and investment management services. The Debt Analyst will support the Hotels & Hospitality Group’s debt capital markets team by preparing transaction materials, performing debt sizing and asset valuation analyses, managing due diligence, and assisting with client communications and marketing campaigns.
What you'll do:
- Support Hotels & Hospitality Group team members in securing listings, marketing, and closing real estate finance transactions
- Independently prepare presentations, financing memorandums, and miscellaneous reports while reviewing financial data inputs from P&L statements and STR reports
- Perform debt sizing analysis and manage collection of necessary due diligence materials for new campaigns
- Complete preliminary asset valuations using DCF, income capitalization, leveraged IRR, comparable sales, and construction cost techniques
- Facilitate the closing due diligence processes
- Execute limited client-facing communications on technical level and assist in marketing campaigns including CRM management
What they're looking for:
- BA/BS Degree in Business Finance, Hotel Administration, and/or Real Estate Finance
- Strong record of academic achievement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while maintaining rapport with a team
- Strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- 1-2 years real estate banking and/or commercial mortgage experience preferred
- Hospitality-industry specific work experience with focus on finance, accounting, or valuations
- Ability to work within formal reporting relationships
- Flexibility to work after normal business hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
