Associates in our Decision Intelligence (DI) business work in teams embedded in clients’ commercial, medical, and market access organizations, turning data into AI-powered decisions in areas such as marketing, patient analytics, market access, forecasting, and medical affairs. They build analyses and AI/ML models, work with AI agents, and help build new ones to advise clients and help them make strategic and tactical decisions in the Life Science industry. ## Potential Responsibilities - Conduct analyses and build models for pharma business problems, from forecasting and marketing effectiveness to patient journeys and market access. - Use and help build AI agents and GenAI pipelines, using LLMs and natural language processing to automate analytics and speed time to insight. - Evaluate AI solutions for feasibility and business impact. Apply responsible AI practices to everything you deliver. - Prepare and present your work. Explain analyses, build slides, and present to team and client audiences. ## About You - Working toward a bachelor's or master's degree, with preference for Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or an Engineering major; graduating between December 2026 and June 2027. - Business acumen: able to understand how a client's business works and connect data and AI work to business outcomes. Interest in the life sciences industry and improving patient outcomes through AI-driven solutions; domain knowledge is preferred but not required. - Agentic AI fluency: able to explain how AI agents work, including models, tools, and guardrails, to a client, and have built or used one hands-on through coursework, an internship, or a personal project. - Storytelling and communication: strong communication skills, comfortable presenting concepts and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, and able to turn analysis into a clear story. - Problem-solving mindset and learning agility: enjoys solving a wide variety of problems using analytical and AI approaches; adaptable and quick to learn new technologies. - AI/ML knowledge: understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and practical applications. - Technical skills: proficiency or a strong foundation in Python, SQL, and R. Excel skills required. - AI tools preferred: hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks, AI assistants, and coding tools such as Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or Copilot, and readiness to discuss how you use them and where they fall short. - A dedicated team player who enjoys collaboration with the primary goal of getting it done. - Must have permanent work authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship. ## Life at Axtria Axtrians are passionate and thrive in a culture of collaboration and learning.
