Design Internship

Hasana, Inc. is seeking a Design Intern to support its design teams across jewelry, handbags, apparel, accessories, and fine stationery. The intern will assist with collection research and development, materials and sample coordination, design presentations, and communication with production partners.

What you'll do:

• Sourcing and swatching fabrics
• Researching and originating ideas for collection
• Organizing and archiving article numbers and price information for all fabrics and trims
• Communicating with factories, patternmaker and sample-makers to ensure quality and design execution
• Creating inspiration boards & drawing flats
• Developing presentation boards
• Organizing fabric files and samples
• Assisting with ordering fabrics
• Expediting samples

• Must be a full or part-time student and working toward a degree
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and other groups as necessary both internally and externally
• Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
• Strong computer skills, PC with experience in Windows NT, Excel, PowerPoint and other applicable software
• Integrity, honesty, openness and a willingness to operate as a team player
