Development Engineer Intern

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company is seeking talented college students to join our 2027 summer internship program. Our 12-week internship program is designed to provide real-world and hands-on experience in areas that interest you! As an intern, you will collaborate with industry experts to solve real-world challenges and change the way we do business. Development Engineer Interns will provide electrical project support through: - Design and fabrication of test article instrumentation - Circuit analysis - Harnessing, soldering, testing - PCB design - Electrical database administration - Perform hands-on testing of electronic assemblies in a development lab environment - Participate in environmental and dynamic testing of development, qualification, and production top-level assemblies - Assess and analyze technical risks, then support the creation and execution of risk mitigation plans - Generate technical reports for complex development tests and analysesAs a part of our internship program, your experience will include: - Robust projects with positive business impact - Formal and informal feedback from managers - Lunch and learn sessions featuring executives from across the business - Networking and social events - Visibility to all levels of leadership
