Job Description:

Summary:

The Department of Health Studies is seeking a motivated undergraduate student to assist with front office communication, administrative duties, and event planning.
 

Essential Functions:

  • Elicit and organize communications content from faculty members.

  • Design engaging graphics for newsletters, events and social media content using Canva and other tools.

  • Manage and grow our Instagram presence through creative posts and stories.

  • Collaborate with the team to organize and manage department events.

  • Other administrative tasks using Microsoft 365 apps.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Part-time.

  • 6 hours per week.

Salary Range:

  • $18.40 per hour.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Student must have an active Federal Work Study (FWS) award.

  • This position requires strong oral, written and digital communication skills and the ability to multi-task and work independently.  

Preferred Education and Experience:​

  • Preference for students with majors and minors in the Health Studies Department. Prior experience working in an office setting is highly recommended.
