Digital Electrical Engineering Intern (Comms/TVI)

Thales Defense & Security, Inc. is a U.S. defense company developing communication, visualization, signal intelligence/electronic warfare, and sensor technologies. The Digital Electrical Engineering Intern will support electrical hardware design and development projects, analyze engineering data, document results, and collaborate with engineers under close supervision.

What you'll do:

• Work directly with a mentor in the Electrical Hardware design field to perform technical assignments with a basic degree of complexity
• Provide technical support to engineers and scientific staff in design and development projects to find solutions to real world problems
• Under close supervision, participate in Hardware designs in assigned area
• Utilize standard software packages common in the Electrical Hardware Design discipline to complete basic tasks
• Gather and analyze data or information in support of engineering research
• Document and communicate results of technical data generated
• Share technical information and promote open dialogue
• Attend relevant seminars, facility tours, and interact with other students
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

What they're looking for:

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Must be enrolled in an accredited university of college and have completed at least 2 semesters within Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or Computer Science fields
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must be proficient in English both verbal and written
• Must be able to comply with Thales policies, procedures and guidelines
