Digital Engineer Intern, Summer 2027 (REQ#43459)

Amway is a company with a Digital Engineering team that develops and supports manufacturing applications across its global operations. The Digital Engineer Intern will contribute to application modernization and software development initiatives by gathering requirements, developing and enhancing solutions, testing applications, and supporting manufacturing operations.

What you'll do:

• Support efforts to modernize and consolidate existing manufacturing applications by migrating legacy systems to newer technologies and platforms. Responsibilities may include gathering business requirements, updating application functionality, testing solutions, and supporting implementation efforts
• Develop and enhance applications used on the manufacturing floor, including systems that interface with scales, measurement devices, and other operational technologies. Interns will gain exposure to software solutions that directly support business operations

• Undergraduate students who will have completed their sophomore or junior year by the start of the internship, with an anticipated graduation date between August 2027 and April 2029
• Experience with object-oriented programming concepts
• Exposure to C# and .NET through coursework, projects, internships, or personal development work
• Basic SQL and database knowledge
• Understanding of software development fundamentals
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
