Digital Marketing Intern - Summer 2027 - Campus Recruiting

Hormel Foods is a global branded food company seeking a Digital Marketing Intern for its summer internship program. The intern will support digital campaign execution, content development, campaign analytics, competitive research, influencer initiatives, and collaboration with cross-functional marketing teams.

What you'll do:

• Assist in planning and executing digital campaigns across social media, email, and paid media channels
• Support content development for websites, blogs, and social platforms
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and others
• Conduct competitive research and trend analysis to inform strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including brand, shopper marketing, and e-commerce
• Help manage influencer partnerships and user-generated content initiatives
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to enhance digital engagement

What they're looking for:

• Must graduate in  August 2027, December 2027, May 2028 and major in Food Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Possesses strong analytical and communication skills
• Strong interest in digital marketing and consumer behavior
• Creative thinker with attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Demonstrated leadership and persuasive skills are necessary for success in this position
• Possesses a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit

• Must be comfortable with the preparation and consumption of a variety of Hormel Foods Products which may include but not limited to pork, beef, chicken, turkey and nuts
• This position will require access to and/or the utilization of a personal motor vehicle to get to and from the workplace
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred
