Digital Marketing Specialist

Upland Hills Health is a healthcare organization seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist for its Community Relations Department. The role focuses on planning and optimizing digital marketing campaigns, managing website and social media content, implementing SEO/SEM strategies, analyzing performance, and improving patient-facing digital experiences.

What you'll do:

• Plan, execute, and optimize integrated digital marketing campaigns across the hospital’s website, search engines, email, social media, digital advertising, and other digital channels
• Manage, update, and optimize website content to strengthen the organization’s brand, improve search visibility, and provide a clear, accessible, and engaging experience for patients and families
• Develop and implement SEO/SEM strategies, including keyword research, on-page optimization, local search, and performance monitoring
• Manage and grow the organization’s social media presence through strategic content planning, creation, publishing, engagement, and performance analysis
• Create and optimize digital content for hospital services, specialties, providers, locations, and other areas of the patient journey
• Monitor and report on digital marketing performance using established KPIs, analytics, and ROI measures; translate data into actionable recommendations
• Identify trends, audience insights, and opportunities to improve campaign performance, website engagement, conversion rates, and overall digital effectiveness
• Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests, conversion experiments, and other optimization initiatives to improve digital experiences and campaign results
• Collaborate with internal departments, clinical/service-line teams, agencies, developers, designers, and other partners to develop landing pages, campaigns, and digital experiences
• Evaluate the patient journey across digital channels and identify opportunities to improve usability, engagement, accessibility, and conversion
• Collaborate with external agencies, technology providers, and other vendor partners to execute digital marketing initiatives and achieve organizational goals
• Stay current on emerging digital marketing technologies, platforms, trends, and best practices; provide recommendations regarding their potential application within the organization

What they're looking for:

• A bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
• Proven working experience in digital marketing
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools. (i.e., Google Analytics)
• Working knowledge of ad serving tools
• Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
• Previous direct work-related experience is preferred but not required in this field
