Description and Requirements
The Director, AI Tools Deployment at Scale leads how USB turns broad access to AI tools — such as Claude Cowork, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor and others — into widespread adoption, constant experimentation and tangible gains in productivity and process performance.
This is a hands-on, embedded role: observe how colleagues operate, identify where AI can remove friction or unlock capacity, co-develop the solutions, and track and report the impact. Success requires strong strategic thinking, execution discipline, fluency with AI tools, executive presence, and the ability to influence across a highly matrixed organization.
We are especially interested in candidates who have deployed AI tools at scale before.
Description and Requirements

- Embed with USB teams to observe workflows, identify process-improvement and productivity opportunities, and build and prioritize a pipeline of AI use cases sized by effort, feasibility, and impact.
- Co-develop AI solutions with end users — including prompts, agents, and Copilot/Claude/Chat GPT workflows — iterate based on real usage, and scale proven wins into reusable patterns for enterprise-wide rollout.
- Champion AI adoption and fluency across teams, researching and recommending AI tools as needed, and collaborating with Enterprise Strategy and Capabilities teams to share best practices across MetLife.
- Partner with Technology, Data, and Risk to ensure solutions remain secure, compliant, and aligned with MetLife's AI governance framework.
- Define metrics and baselines, track and report realized impact across growth, adoption, and efficiency, and maintain executive communications for senior leadership.
Description and Requirements

- 3-5+ years in management consulting, product management, corporate strategy, business transformation, finance, or related roles.

- Experience in building working solutions/products/apps/websites using AI tools in day-to-day life and work.
- Hands-on, ownership-driven mindset with strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities, and a proven ability to lead and influence across multiple teams.
- Ability to embed AI into core team workflows and use tools and data insights to improve outcomes, address complex issues, and drive measurable performance improvements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Description and Requirements

- Experience leading AI enablement or change efforts at scale — e.g., in a top-tier management consulting setting or Corporate Strategy at a large enterprise with ability to communicate effectively with senior and executive leadership.
- Natural curiosity and inclination to challenge “the way work has always been done” with a track record of inspiring and leading people to adopt new tools and/or processes.
