About this role
Company Overview
Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
Intuit is a global financial technology platform powering prosperity for consumers and small and mid-market businesses around the world. Across TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES), and Mailchimp, we serve over 100 million customers and operate one of the most robust small and mid-market business ecosystems globally.
We are seeking a Director, Banking, Payments & Wallet to own the business P&L end-to-end — balancing growth, cost, and risk to build a durable, high-performing business. This leader will turn Credit Karma Money from a seasonal, score-check destination into a year-round financial relationship, driving daily engagement through activation, rewards, and direct deposit programs that convert one-time users into recurring financial services customers. This role also extends into CK Wallet, unifying crypto, stablecoins, remittances, and e-commerce under one connected experience.
Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth end-to-end across activation, engagement, and retention levers spanning the banking, payments and wallet product portfolio.
Balance growth, cost, and risk to build a sustainable, high-performing business — not just a growing one.
Partner with Risk and Operations to improve unit economics and reduce cost-to-serve while improving customer experience.
Design activation, lifecycle, and rewards/incentive programs that convert one-time users into recurring, engaged banking customers.
Partner closely with Marketing to accelerate customer acquisition and drive the revenue path
Work with extended Credit Karma and Tax teams to convert the existing customer base into incremental product adoption and flywheel revenue.
Leverage banking and fintech experience to lead a unified Wallet capability — integrating crypto, stablecoins, remittances, and e-commerce.
Shape the roadmap that connects banking, payments, and wallet into a single, coherent consumer experience.
Lead dedicated acquisition, activation, and engagement pods, aligning execution with cros-functional stakeholders to drive execution
Establish the operating cadence and cross-functional partnerships needed to scale a business investing in significant new headcount over FY26/FY27.
Qualifications
Proven ownership of a banking, payments, or fintech P&L — not just a product or marketing lane within one.
Track record of driving consumer growth, retention, and lifetime value in a scaled DTC or B2C financial product.
Direct experience with direct deposit, activation, or lifecycle/incentive programs in a banking or fintech context.
Demonstrated ability to build a team and operating model from a standing start, not just run an established org.
Experience partnering with Marketing, Product, Finance, Risk, and Operations to deliver against aggressive revenue targets.
Comfort operating in a fast-moving, still-forming business, where the leader is expected to define the playbook, not inherit one.
Leadership Capabilities
Entrepreneurial, P&L-minded operator who sets vision and strategy across functions, not just within one.
Strong financial and analytical acumen, balancing growth, cost, and risk simultaneously.
Exceptional cross-functional influence, with the presence to align Marketing, Product, Risk, and Operations around a shared plan.
Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams from the ground up.
Additional Strengths
Background in neobank, challenger bank, or embedded finance models.
Experience with crypto, stablecoins, remittances, or e-commerce-adjacent wallet products.
Familiarity with financial institution (bank) partnership structures and management.
Experience operating within a matrixed, platform-level organization like Intuit's.
