About this role
Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, develops advanced aerospace and defense solutions, including displays for commercial and military avionics and ground vehicles. The Display Products team is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op to design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify, and document electrical hardware while collaborating with other engineering disciplines and supporting product integration and qualification efforts.
What you'll do:
- Utilizing problem solving and design skills to implement changes to documented electrical designs
- Supporting the generation and release of complex technical documentation
- Supporting integration and environmental qualification testing of new products
- You will design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify, and document new electrical hardware
- You will develop, test, and document changes to existing hardware designs
- You will work closely with other engineering disciplines (ie. mechanical and systems engineering) to ensure electrical design is appropriate for the given application
- You will participate in cross-functional team efforts in integration, pre-qualification, and qualification for products and subsystems

- Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the co-op session
- Experience with one or more of the following: Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing or PCB design
- Experience using common electronic test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers (VNAs) digital multimeters (DMMs) and signal generators for circuit characterization, debugging and validation
- “Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.”
- Experience using computer aided design (CAD) layout software such as Siemens Expedition or equivalent
- Experience with electrical hardware documentation or drawing standards
- Experience with displays technology such as image processing, LCD drivers, graphics engines, touch screens, etc
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience
