About this role

Job Overview

Are you the person who naturally keeps everyone organized, follows through when others get busy, and notices when something is about to fall through the cracks?

We may have the job for you.

Farmers Insurance - District 25 is looking for an energetic, organized and people-oriented District Operations & Recruiting Coordinator to join our Knoxville team.

This isn't your typical administrative position. You'll be at the center of a busy district office. Helping coordinate recruiting, supporting our agency owners, keeping projects and follow-ups on track, and helping turn a lot of moving pieces into an organized plan.

We're looking for someone who likes people, loves organization, isn't afraid to pick up the phone, and gets genuine satisfaction from getting things DONE.

This position gives you the opportunity to learn much more than traditional office administration.

You'll gain hands-on experience in recruiting, business operations, sales, marketing, event coordination and entrepreneurship while working directly with district leadership and local insurance agency owners.

We're building a more proactive, organized and growth-focused district, and you'll have an opportunity to help us build it.

We're also looking for someone who can grow with the role. As you learn the business, demonstrate your strengths and take on greater responsibility, there is opportunity for the position to develop over time.

  • Are friendly, outgoing and comfortable meeting new people
  • Can juggle several priorities without losing track of the details

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Recruiting & Candidate Coordination

You'll help keep our recruiting process moving from the moment someone applies.

You'll:

  • Review incoming applicants and conduct initial outreach
  • Complete basic phone prescreening using our established process
  • Introduce candidates to our agency ownership and development opportunities
  • Schedule interviews and meetings
  • Manage candidate follow-up and re-engagement
  • Keep our recruiting CRM organized and up to date
  • Help make sure promising candidates get to the right person at the right time

You don't need recruiting experience, we'll teach you our process. You do need to be comfortable talking with new people and picking up the phone.

Agent Growth & Support

We work with agency owners throughout our district, and one of our biggest priorities is helping them continue to develop and grow their businesses.

You'll help coordinate our Agent Growth process by:

  • Scheduling proactive growth conversations
  • Tracking action items and upcoming check-ins
  • Sending reminders and helping our team stay on track
  • Coordinating resources and follow-up after meetings
  • Helping recognize agency wins and milestones
  • Making sure important conversations don't end without a next step

You won't be expected to coach agents or develop their business strategies. Our district leadership team handles that. Your job is to help make sure the process stays organized and actually happens.

District Operations

You'll also help keep the district office running smoothly by:

  • Preparing recurring district communications and updates
  • Coordinating calendars, meetings and follow-ups
  • Helping with routine agent requests
  • Managing office supplies and everyday operational needs
  • Tracking projects, deadlines and action items
  • Coordinating with outside vendors
  • Helping a busy team stay organized when priorities change

Events, Promotions & District Culture

We like to have some fun around here, too.

Our district regularly hosts events and creates sales promotions, competitions and recognition programs to keep our agency community connected and energized.

You'll help bring those ideas to life by assisting with:

  • Event logistics
  • Promotions and competitions
  • Agent recognition
  • Ordering and supplies
  • Communications
  • Tracking results
