SUMMARY
Responsible for providing analytical support to Producers and service team in servicing existing accounts and soliciting new business. Key responsibilities include financial analysis, financial modeling, and day to day financial reporting for assigned functional areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews and evaluates financial statements including quality of financial reporting, liquidity, equity, profitability, work in process, work capacity, credit history and bank capacity.
Leads in building out electronic platforms related to logistics, sales, operations and other processes.
Prepares portfolio and financial benchmarking reports based upon financial analysis.
Communicates with clients and key stakeholders regarding information needed to perform financial analysis.
Provides servicing of insurance programs including cross-referencing various reports and identifying deficiencies.
Assists with financial analysis of clients producing trend analysis and profit comparison and peer benchmarking reports.
Researches and resolves inquiries for assigned functional areas.
Facilitates the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information.
Provides practical business leadership to drive business decision making.
Proactively identifies areas for process improvement.
Completes special projects as assigned.
Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).
Perform all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Five (5) or more years of related work experience
SKILLS
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
Strong mathematical ability
Possesses advanced knowledge of financial statements
Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent assignments and complete work by required due dates
Highly proactive; actively seeks opportunities for process improvement
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills including conditional formulas
