DoD SkillBridge \- Remote Business Systems Analyst

Altimeter Solutions, LLC is a technical consulting firm specializing in analytical and technical consultative services. They are seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to analyze business processes, identify system requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective solutions that improve operational efficiency and support strategic goals.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for system enhancements or new implementations
• Analyze current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Work closely with developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with cross-functional teams
• Support system testing, including creating test cases, executing tests, and validating results
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and comply with organizational standards
• Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Assist in change management, including user training and documentation
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements

What they're looking for:

• Must be active-duty U.S. military service member who qualifies for participation in the DoD SkillBridge Program
• Strong understanding of business processes and system analysis methodologies
• Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation tools
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or enterprise systems
• Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI)
• Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile-related credentials
• Experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments
