About this role

As the Drive-thru (DT) Coordinator, you will evaluate and organize the Drive Thru through proper leadership and training alongside a counterpart to create a drive thru experience from open to close that is fast and accurate, but never rushed. You will create a positive work environment that focusing on the GUEST FIRST. This will happen by following a quality training plan for all DT trainees and current team members to guarantee consistency. You will also utilize spot checks and general meetings to re-educate DT team members. You will understand that you are responsible for all aspects related to the DT, which are not limited to the ones outlined below. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Vision: • Make everyone feel at HOME and Cared for • Create a culture of Speed, not rushed with Order Accuracy • Creates a culture of SAFETY People: • Ensure all employees are properly uniformed and hands are washed before clocking in and throughout the shift • Ensure all employees are properly trained on safety and security • Continuously trains team members (TM’s) to ensure all drive thru processes are being followed according to CFA standards. • Lead the efforts of interviewing and hiring of new employees to meet the needs of the Drive-thru • Communicate any training assistance needed to the Training and development Manager. • Help certify trainers for DT • Directly in charge of the day and night DT staff and assists in whatever is needed to be able to run the shift with the least amount of stress possible. • Leading the DT team--growth and development opportunities for team members, performance management, etc. Quality and Guest Experience: • Answer the phone within three rings using an inviting greeting • Maintain a current ServSafe certification and apply the knowledge gained during the certification everyday while at work • Monitor every shift at least once weekly: opening and breakfast shift (5:30a-10:30a), lunch shift (10:30a-2p), mid-shift (2p-5p), dinner shift (5p-8p) and a closing shift (8p-10:45p) to evaluate how leaders are running the shift and to ensure that all DT systems are being performed properly and consistently. • Examine DT performance reports and diagnoses areas for improvement. • Ensure that DT equipment is being properly maintained, including DT menu boards Sales and Brand Growth: • Serve on the Executive Leadership Team as a strategic partner and attends the weekly executive team meeting. • Work with Operations Coach and/or Front of House Operations Director and DT leaders to develop and achieve the DT yearly business plan goals and DT training goals. • Visual Data – coordinates gathering, recording and displaying relevant data for the DT team to include, but not limited to: current car averages, daily car and sales goals, current CEM (customer feedback) scores • Work with the Training and Development Manager to create an implementation plan for new product rollouts. • Visit other CFA restaurants for the purpose of implementing new ideas for continued restaurant growth. • Identify and mentor future leaders Organizational Responsibilities: • Ensures the weekly schedule is posted in a timely manner while working with the scheduler to cover DT shifts that still need to be filled. • Maintains proper safety of unit keys and POS manager card • Applies safety standards for the use of alarm code holder Full time benefits!
