Electrical & Computer Engineer - Summer Internship 2027

Corvid Technologies is a defense contractor providing end-to-end engineering solutions for complex defense applications. The Electrical & Computer Engineer intern will analyze, develop, design, manufacture, and test next-generation products while working alongside experienced engineers on projects involving guidance systems, RF and radar, computational software, and electronic systems.

What you'll do:

• Analyze, develop, design, manufacture and test next-generation products for Government and Commercial customers
• Developing IMUs and algorithms for guidance systems to actuators for launch platforms
• Support a variety of RF and Radar Engineering work
• Work on computational/scientific software used for Multiphysics analysis
• Developing electronic systems for fuze devices used in munitions
• Interns work on real technical projects alongside experienced engineers, subject matter experts, and mentors
• They will have opportunities to interact with organizational leaders throughout the company

What they're looking for:

• Candidate must be a US Citizen, and some positions will require an ability to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
• Pursuing an Electrical or Computer Engineering (or similar STEM discipline) degree with at least a 3.0 GPA (Graduate students are welcome to apply as well)
• Demonstrated understanding of coursework related to academic pursuits and technical projects relevant to specific areas of interest
• Ability to work at least 8-10 weeks on-site over the course of the summer (typically mid/late May through early August)
