Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join a collaborative team delivering engineering services and building design projects. The role supports electrical engineering design, project documentation, alternative studies, and coordination using industry-specific design software and tools.
What you'll do:
- Perform design computations
- Assist in designing projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools
- Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction
- Assist with alternative studies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What they're looking for:
- • Proficient in discipline specific design software
- • Proficient in Microsoft Office
- • Written and oral communication skills
- • Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering or electrical engineering or a related field from ABET accredited engineering program
- • 0-5 years of experience in building design engineering or related field
- •Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification
- • Engineer-in-training certification
- • Related experience
- • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SKM Powertools, ETAP, AGI32, Elumtools, Lightstanza
