About this role
SAIC is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN. The role involves providing Electrical Engineering support for test and evaluation activities related to missile batteries.
What you'll do:
- Create test procedures for testing all types of missile battery systems, plan and execute the test procedures, collect, and evaluate the data, and provide the results and conclusions to support various battery designs for all applications, including new prototypes and developmental energy systems
- Tests shall be generally aging and surveillance, lot acceptance, qualification, and special engineering tests
- Plans and procedures shall be in accordance with DoD requirements
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and zero years of related experience
- Interim Secret Clearance will be required to start with ability to obtain a Secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process
- US Citizenship
- Exposure battery development and testing
