Electrical Engineer Co-Op (August - December 2027)

General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc. hires an Electrical Engineer Co-Op to contribute to technical projects supporting defense and national security missions. The role provides an opportunity to apply classroom-learned skills while working with collaborative engineering teams.

What you'll do:

• Apply your classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country
• The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with our core mission

What they're looking for:

• Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology
• Electrical Engineering Co-Ops must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Electrical Engineering discipline
• Department of Defense secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time
• Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Clear understanding of engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
• Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
• A standing of a sophomore or higher
