## Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
## Clearance Requirements
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
## Responsibilities
As an electrical engineer for Undersea Mission Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for Electrical Hardware Design.
## Preferred Skills and Experiences
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand complex electronic schematics for a Circuit Card Assembly (CCA).
- Proficiency with EDA/schematic capture tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad).
- Ability to perform or support circuit simulation (e.g., SPICE, LTspice) to validate functional behavior pre-fabrication.
- Familiarity with PCB layout considerations to support the layout team during the fabrication phase.
- Ability to author and review formal test procedures for CCA-level functional testing.
- Skilled in troubleshooting hardware anomalies at the board level using signal tracing and diagnostic techniques.
